first of all , I think most people are massive pushovers. people don’t stand up for themselves the way they originally used to or maybe they never did, idk but I think a lot of people are pushovers and as a result they’re fairly pathetic. I can excuse some people but that doesn’t mean it makes me want to run into their arms and chit chat about them. 

Another thing. People don’t know how to hold any, and I really mean ANY kind of conversation anymore. It’s like we reverted back 18 years and nobody knows how to speak anymore. Ask any person a question beyond ‘how was your day’ and all you’re met with is the most basic response known to man. Do something different. Be interesting. Just DO SOMETHING!

Then you have the people who do want to be different but they’re just so insufferable, and they just end up being the same brand. It’s either “omg I’m so cool and problematic look at me I’m such an edgelord I never grew out of that phase”, cute pink coquette shit immediately followed by some explanation of how deep and like DDLC core they are, and it’s just like shut up bro actually so annoying. Whats the point of being ‘special’ if you’re evidently not? 

The thing is for me though when I do find someone I am interested with I’m suddenly like holy fuck. It’s like seeing the world in black and white and sudddnky this person shows you color. Talking to ONE singular interesting person is just genuinely life saving. I don’t know, maybe it’s because growing up I didn’t get a lot of social interaction (that’s pretty fucking obvious by the way I act) but when I meet someone that uses more than their two fucking braincells, it’s like I’ve been blessed by god himself. 

If you don’t know how to talk to people, just learn. It’ll save you. This goes in ANY context, not just online btw
