Tumblr older men

Can someone tell me why on tumblr is so many old perverts? I love tumblr because of vibe and girl blogging posts but always when I open this app I see at least one message from old man. Yes I’m into age gaps where man is older but this messages are in 90% disgusting. Maybe someone knows how I can turn it off? I block every single pervert but this is too much. Please help me
