the most awkwardest moment in my life

i grew up with very strict parents. Luckily, my mom and dad got divorced when i was three. So my mom being the most strict one wasn't present when i was with my dad, who wasnt as strict. When i started dating my ex boyfriend, i was about seventeen (-ish, maybe sixteen) when this happened, we would only go to the movies. Although, id lie to my dad, saying i was going with a group of friends and when he'd pick me up id tell him my friends had left and only my boyfriend was still waiting for his parents. Which was also a lie because my boyfriend at the time, had a car. So this one day i went with my boyfriend to the movies, it was a pretty late one, and almost by the end of the movie i tell my boyfriend "lets head out, go to your car, then we'll come back when the movie finishes and everyone is coming  out. When we get outside, something told me "look around" so i did and this being a busy theater, there were obviously A LOT of cars, yet i spotted this one car that looked like my dad's but that model had come out earlier that year so it was obviously a popular car. So my dumbass brushes it off, we went to the car, like twenty minutes later i notice that the movie was about to finish and i text my dad FROM MY BOYFRIENDS CAR -movies about to end- so he'd leave the house and be on his way. We get out of the car and go back to the theater. That's when my dad texts me back -already here-. I look around and THE CAR I HAD SEEN BEFORE WAS MY DAD. I walk to the car like nothing trying to pretend that nothing had happened and when i get in the car, my dads face is PALE. He stares at me in disbelief, and i ask him whats up. (me literally dying inside). Well, we drove back to the house in total silence, we didn't talk until the next day.
