Running out of things to photograph

I've been running out of things to photograph, I've been to every decent spot in my town to take pictures already, I don't have a car so I can't exactly drive out of my town, but I've resorted to taking photos of my pets as at least it's something different.

I don't know what you've tried already but maybe you could try setting up somthing to make like a little scene and use the background environment and lighting to your advantage maybe have a friend act as a subject and mess around with different ISO speeds and moving lights
