Tiñendo unos converse(tutorial)

Una tienda vendía estos converse a un precio MUY barato, además de que tenían de mi talla(la cual no la suelo encontrar con tanta facilidad).
el único problema...es que eran color blanco, y no tenían en otro color(negro preferiblemente).

Era demasiado barato como para no hacer nada y decidí pintarlos, los materiales que utilize son dos bolsitas de anilina, cinta papel, sal y vaselina

A store was selling these Converse at a VERY cheap price, and they even had my size (which I don’t usually find that easily).
The only problem… they were white, and they didn’t have them in any other color (black preferably).
It was too cheap to just ignore, so I decided to dye them. The materials I used were two small packets of fabric dye, masking tape, salt, and petroleum jelly.

primero coloquè la cinta papel alrededor de toda la zona que no quería que fuera teñida(suelas), para luego aplicarle una capa de vaselina asegurándome de que cubra toda la superficie, la vaselina funciona como un aislante.
luego humedezco ligeramente ambos zapatos.

First, I placed masking tape around all the areas I didn’t want to be dyed (the soles). Then I applied a layer of petroleum jelly, making sure it covered the entire surface. The petroleum jelly works as a barrier.
After that, I slightly dampened both shoes.

preparo un balde con 2 litros de agua caliente, le agrego los dos sobres de anilina y dos puños de sal, lo mezclo suavemente con una palo, luego, le saco la cinta a los zapatos y los agarro cuidadosamente intentando no manchar la tela con la vaselina, para sumergirlos en el balde.

I prepared a bucket with 2 liters of hot water, added the two packets of dye and two handfuls of salt, and gently mixed it with a stick. Then I removed the tape from the shoes and carefully held them, trying not to stain the fabric with the petroleum jelly, and submerged them in the bucket.

en mi caso los deje sumergidos por 2 horas, mezclándolos y moviéndolos con el palo cada tanto.

In my case, I left them submerged for 2 hours, stirring and moving them around with the stick from time to time.

.luego de esas dos horas los saco del balde, y las dejo goteando

After those two hours, I took them out of the bucket and let them drip dry.

al día siguiente los dejo secándose en la sombra, ya estando secos, este seria el resultado, a pesar de haber usado un tinte negro quedaron algo azulados

The next day, I left them to dry in the shade. Once dry, this was the result. Even though I used black dye, they turned out slightly bluish.
