This thing will be updated daily/weekly, as it sits in my drafts for a while now and I am still coming up with new ideas :D not all is written - I want to improve my reasoning and maybe apply some images as references? Anyway - enjoy my little, treasured and crazy wishlist.
✯ Midcentury house designed by myself✯
❀ Room with a glass dome that serves as greenhouse.
This is an absolute must for the plants I already have and the ones I want in the future. Plants change the way a house feels, they make it alive, breathing, and constantly evolving. I would love to build my own small ecosystem: orchids, flowers, herbs, seasonal plants. Not just for decoration, but something to care for daily. Separate dream that comes from it is to slowly grow a personal orchid collection and learn the patience and knowledge that comes with it.
❀ Billiard table.
Pretty self explanatory, I love playing billiard and I wish to play it whenever I want, but beyond the game itself, it create space in the house dedicated to play and social interaction. It lowkey creates natural moments of conversation, competition, and laughter. It’s the kind of activity that brings people together without forcing it (no mood for "just talking").
❀ Quirky lamps.
Lighting has a huge influence on how a space feels. I would love lamps that are unusual in shape, material, or/and color - pieces that feel almost sculptural. Instead of treating lighting as something purely functional, I want it to become part of the visual identity of the house. A lamp can be both a source of light and an artistic object that changes the atmosphere of a room.
❀ Interesting chairs.
Chairs are one of the easiest ways to introduce personality into a space. Different shapes, textures, and designs can create visual variety while still remaining functional. I like the idea that every chair could feel slightly unique - almost like each one has its own character.
❀ Quirky clocks.
Clocks are usually treated as purely practical objects, but they can also become small design statements. Again - unusual shapes, vintage pieces, or artistic designs make them more interesting than a standard wall clock. They quietly add charm and individuality to a room.
❀ Textured or expressive ceilings.
Plain white ceilings often feel like a missed opportunity in interior design. Subtle textures, patterns, wood elements, or architectural details can make a room feel more complete. Even small variations in ceiling design can change how a space is perceived and make it feel more intentional. + I hate how empty they look when they are simply white.
❀ Conversation pit.
Living rooms should not be TV centered - don't change my mind. A conversation pit encourages people to face each other not stare at a screen. It creates intimacy and warmth. Architecture can quietly influence behavior, and I want my home to encourage conversation, connection and presence.
❀ Warm interiors - lights and color pallet.
Warm lighting and warm color palettes make spaces feel more human and livable. Cold lighting and pure white walls often feel sterile, like temporary spaces rather than homes. I want interiors that feel soft, golden, and welcoming - places where you naturally slow down or/and vibe.
❀ Hobby room.
Special space for my hobbies, displays with collections - manga, figurines, books, rocks, minerals, Lego etc. Displaying the things we love is a way of honoring them. Instead of hiding interests in boxes or drawers, they should become part of the visual identity of the house.
❀ Indoor pool and outdoor hot tub.
Swimming whenever I want, regardless of the season, feels like the ultimate luxury. The outdoor hot tub is slightly unnecessary... but also deeply necessary. Sitting in hot water while it’s cold outside is one of the most relaxing experiences imaginable.
❀ Where aesthetic meets the functionality.
Beauty alone isn’t enough. I need things to work well. Storage must make sense, spaces must be practical, and daily tasks should feel easy rather than frustrating. The ideal home is where thoughtful design quietly supports everyday life.
❀ Fine and quirky china.
Alongside classic sets of plates and bowls, there must also be strange, unexpected pieces of porcelain and ceramics. Handmade objects carry the personality of their creator. They’re imperfect, unique, and meaningful in ways mass-produced items rarely are. I would love to own pieces made by my friend and eventually make some of my own.
❀ Music room.
A properly isolated room dedicated entirely to music. Good acoustics, acoustic foam, my music setup, a gramophone, and displays of favorite CDs and vinyl - including game soundtracks. Music deserves a space where it can be experienced intentionally, without distractions.
❀ Garden with soul.
Not a perfectly trimmed, sterile garden - but one that feels alive and slightly wild. Grass that isn’t cut too short, flowers that attract insects, tall ornamental grasses, trees, bushes, and a small vegetable garden. Ideally, the garden should feel like a natural extension of the house - a space that flows between indoors and outdoors.
❀ Driving straight into house.
Hear me out - house on a hill, garage on road level - driving directly into the structure. Then a beautiful outdoor staircase leading to the main entrance above. Functional and slightly dramatic.
❀ Big home library.
A personal library built from pure curiosity and longing for knowledge. Not just decorative books, but a place where time slows down and learning becomes a daily ritual. We don’t immediately "ChatGPT" everything. Sometimes we spend hours finding answers in books.
❀ Coffee and tea corner.
A small ritual space. Grinding coffee beans, preparing tea slowly, maybe drinking hot genmaicha while watching the morning light. Treating drink preparation not as a quick task but as a calming, grounding ritual..
❀ Pretty tiles and natural wood.
Pretty tiles and lots of natural wood. Natural materials age beautifully and make interiors feel more authentic. They also connect the house visually to the garden and surrounding landscape.
❀ Bathroom split into wet and dry area.
Separating the wet and dry areas makes bathrooms much easier to use and maintain. It’s surprisingly uncommon in some places (my country for example), but it improves both hygiene and comfort.
❀ Salt wall.
A salt wall corner for relaxation and inhalation. Instead of going to parks with graduation towers, I could simply sit at home, breathe deeply, and relax.
❀ Classy carpets on wooden floor.
Classy carpets add warmth and visual richness to wooden floors. They soften the space both physically and visually, like adding another layer of art to the room.
❀ Flower compositions on tables.
Buying fresh flowers early in the morning and creating my own arrangements. Small compositions on tables that brighten the entire house. Heavily inspired by the Korean YouTuber 꿀주부, whose calm and intentional lifestyle is something I admire.
❀ Telescope.
Since the greenhouse dome already exists, imagine opening one of the windows and looking directly at the sky through a telescope. Watching stars from inside the house would be magical (I would cry everyday).
❀ At least one lamp that imitates golden hour
Golden hour is the most beautiful moment of the day - warm, calm, inspiring. If it could last forever, I would be endlessly motivated.
❀ Calm home office
A spacious, peaceful workspace. Minimal distractions, good light, and enough room to think clearly.

❀ Solo trip to Japan
A journey taken entirely alone - experiencing the country at my own pace and in my own way. I’m less interested in big cities and more drawn to natural landscapes, quiet villages, and everyday life. Traveling alone allows you to listen to yourself more carefully, that's why it's an ultimate wish. I am already coming to Japan next year with my family, but I wish to go alone too.
❀ 3-4 cats
Yes, maybe that’s a lot. I accept it. Cats make a home feel alive - playful, unpredictable, comforting. I love them. At least two of them has to be the most basic shelter/street cats in the least wanted colors (black and classic tabby), plus one must be a maine coon (in honor of my forever missed kitty).
❀ Collection of pretty jewelry
They don't have to be super expensive - just pieces that feel artistic and deep in their form. I like simplicity but I also feel like maximalist approach in jewelry fill the outfit perfectly.
❀ Trip to wellness center
I would love to go to a nice wellness center in the mountains where I can just rest and meditate, all without my phone. Additional points if my besties would come with me.
✦ Future hobbies and crafts ✦
❀ Ceramics.
Working with clay feels incredibly grounding. The entire process - shaping the object, waiting for it to dry, firing it in a kiln, glazing it - requires lots of patience and attention. Right now it’s difficult because ceramics need both space and access to a kiln, which usually means paying for a studio. But someday I would love to create my own cups, plates, and small sculptural objects. Handmade objects used daily carry a completely different emotional value.
❀ Scrapbooking meaningful moments
Scrapbooking small, specific days that mattered. Keeping tickets, small notes, pressed flowers, photos, or tiny objects connected to memories. In a world where most memories exist digitally, creating physical archives feels more personal and lasting. A scrapbook becomes a tangible timeline of life.
❀ Orchid collection
Already mentioned it but who cares. Orchids are fascinating plants - delicate, complex, and incredibly diverse. Building a collection is both aesthetic and educational. It requires learning about humidity, light, seasons, and patience. Over time it becomes a living library of plants.
❀ At least one game I can be whale at
I rarely pick up mobile games but when I do - I always give it my heart. It is always a bit disappointing when i want to get something in game and it requires micro-transactions. (ㅠ﹏ㅠ)
