Children of the Corn

Finally watched this movie last Friday, which has been on my bucket list for many years, even since I was young and knew nothing about horror movies.

I kind of wish I had watched it when I was younger and not old enough to analyze it, because, like a lot of Stephen King stories, it makes very little sense.  Also I would have been more impressed with the budget special effects at a young age.  But I still really enjoyed some aspects of it.  The religious cult led by bizarre violent children in a very quiet rural American setting was a perfect theme.  I am glad to say I finally got to see it :) It's free to stream on tubi.
