quailll maybeeee

i REALLY want to get quail this spring!!!! ive got a little start to a plan for how i want to build their enclosure too!!! 

i would make a simple box frame with a slanted roof, and make part of it a fully enclosed box with a lockable door, and the cage/run part would be fully covered in hardware cloth wire (even the bottom!!) so nothing could get in or out!! (plus i also have a flock of chickens and guinea fowls that would sound the alarm if a predator was nearby). id also maybe put wheels on one end, so i could lift the cage side and drag it to new grassy spots daily or move it into my garage or chicken coop during super bad weather!

literally no one cares, both on this site and irl lmaooo honestly this is like a public diary LOL

BUT if anyone else has quail, whats ur thoughts on em! any tips and tricks for keeping em happy?
