I don't get what's so interesting about a love story about two men. It should be just as normalized as any other relationship, and just not stick out as a common interest.
As crazy as it sounds, what if we took the time to switch it up and just extract heterosexual relationships and just say "I love it when a woman and a man kisses in Manhwas" and it's like not even addressed by any specific character.
This also applies to Yuri fans as well, who thrive in the same boat as Yaoi fans. It's so strange.
It would typically be other girls who fetishize yaoi and tend to turn homosexuality as a whole, into just something that always contains lust for one another and it isn't true at all.

Agreed, i hate how fujoshis are normalised now. Yaoi is porn, lets start calling mlm stories BL and wlw stories GL instead of yuri or again. We had it right in <2023 when we would talk about how yaoi is homophobic fetish material and being a fujoshi isnt harmless, its weird.
And these people feel so immature and..corny. especially the "ooooh yay i love yuri haha toxic yuri!!!" Meanwhile these people majorly gay ships and do not genuinly give a shit about girl love and wlw relationships. Not to mention normalising abuse in lgbt relationships. You would not be saying "yay toxic stuff" to a straight relationship
Heated rivalry fans are so annoying. I cannot believe we allowed a group of people to fetishize and treat male love as a porn category just because they are women.
Gay relationships arent spicy or scandalous or whatever, they are just as mundane as straight relationships
Oh my godddd... the amount of times I've seen videos with two women and the comments will have nothing but "Is this yurii???" "Toxic yuriiiii?!!!" omfgg give it upp.. it's like their whole lives depend on same sex relationship. It's just a fetish at this point. Crazy thing is - they're the same people who get upset when a cis mam directly turns lesbians into a shitty sex trophy for their eyes.
It's gross.
