i know it isn’t a lot, and most people won’t even consider a 10min/km pace decent.
but it means a lot to me cos i have alwayssss been bad at running. my entire life really. used to dread fitness tests at schools so much.
at some point i just decided that running will never be for me. i really tried even in adulthood but always got winded with just 1km.
then one random day, i somehow ended up runningtok and learnt how to run properly for the first time in life. got a garmin too and figured out how to train and what metrics to watch for
after 6 months, im really happy to finally be able to run (or maybe jog) a 4km and only stopping for traffic lights :’)
am changing from a fully remote job to a fully onsite job this month (really sad, but was too toxic to stay). hoping that i’ll still have time to keep running
