rant + shopping haul?? ig? (11-2-26)

i am once again at work, god i feel trapped. i fucking hate my stupid job. it has 0 alignment with my personality and values, its incredibly boring, and i have to look at a computer for the whole day! the only perk is that it pays relatively well. 

everytime i'm at work (well, i work from home today, but you know what i mean) i just get reminded of the fact we live like a rat in his cage. we live and breathe just to go to work, to waste 1/4th of your day/life there, waste another 1/4th getting ready/commuting, then another 1/4th on sleep. That gives you only 8 hours to yourself, which is wasted (for me) on school. and then i have to magically find time to work on my music, or go out with friends. and what does it all mean? what are we actually living and working for. you hope you work to live (which is depressing in itself) but in the end, most of us end up living to work. and that fucking sucks...

on a brighter note, i finished my homework for the rest of the week so more free time for me :P also, the courses i'm taking are much more interesting this semester, so very doable.

i am so broke this month cuz i bought a new used phone for my grandma (hers was broken), so i have to ration my food this motnh #sad but i get my next paycheck in 12 days, so it could be worse. i got like... 20 euros to my name right now. 

i'm going to a concert too, in like 10 days, it's hot mulligan!!! i saw them open for pierce the veil back in september? october? who knows, but a while ago. they were straight fire so you know i had to get tickets. its in amsterdam, which sucks, cuz yk, amsterdam, but like, it'll be fun anyway!! i got no idea where that venue is so i'll have to look that up later today :D

i'm listening to the used right now, this live show at warped in 2005? i think? anyway, theyre sooo fucking good man oml

we as a society are so fucked. the way we center our lives around our phones and being connected all the fucking time. eveywhere you go there is a fucking ad in your face: "buy this!" "do that!" "use AI" and i'm like bro fuck off! we are quire literally killing the planet with your capitalist shenanigans, fucking stop!

anyways, that was my rant for today

i got work till 2 (its 9.30 rn) and after that i got a lecture on psychometrics... yay :s

OH BY THE WAY!! i forgot to update you guys on my thrifting/shopping from like... 2 weeks ago :/ whoops

i bought 2 new records, a patch, a few stickers, but nothing from the thriftstore unfortunately! i was going to, but then i remembered that i have a garbage bag full of old clothes i need to alter or reuse soooo, im gonna focus on that first!
