people randomly adding people

i honestly dont understand the incentive to add people to increase your friend's count, is it just for a quick dopamine rush that you have INCREASED ONE NEW FRIEND AMONGST THE 500 IN YOUR FRIENDS LIST WOWW!! or is there an actual reason behind it

maybe it's because im new on this website, but i really just never understand adding someone then never interacting with them at all. is the word "friends" on this website just meaningless or something?

if i get added i would be expecting some normal human interaction first at least, not some pointless friends request out of the blue.

Z3nyaaaa	1785859120 Hey! Well, for me this is very simple, so I've been here since 2022, and most of the people I add, are people I do have things in common with. Usually that would either lead to them commenting on my profile or vice versa and eventually chat a bit and get to know each other. The truth is that SpaceHey is an amazing platform to make friends or to get to know different people, which makes it very different from any other social media in which you only add people that you know in real life. I think I only know two or three people IRL that have spacehey, the rest is all wonderful randos that found my profile, decided to check it and maybe found some interest in common that made them want to chat about it! That, and the other way around too lol, I haven't been as active lately as I used to, but I've met a super special person here by chance, and that's the cool thing on adding random people. I don't think people just add to increase the number :P Report Comment
