📜 Monthly Recap #3: January 26

Started the month like I ended the last one: sick TwT
Means I had to miss this month's choir rehearsal as well as my music lessons first group rehearsals…

It got better after a week, but my throat still occasionally got sore and I still had a light cold.

Thankfully when I got back to the music rehearsals everything went smoothly because I'd already worked quite a bit on the song before getting sick.

Went to see a dance show inspired by the surrealism art movement! No story, just a patchwork of moves they came up with using the puzzle method. Really cool, love when my brain is free to make up the stories. I saw a siren having a panic attack, a ballroom, a rave, a cathedral, the war, a couple arguing about a cheater, a familial argument… That's all I remember at the top of my head. The accompanying surrealist exposition (that stays in the cultural center's foyer until april) was awesome as well!! So many things I'd love to have at my place, eccentric manor vibes. I was able to show my partner when we went to see Pirates, a play about Anne Bonny and Marie Reid that we saw the following wednesday. Said play made me fall back to when i was 10 and discovering my deep love for pirates as I watched the first Pirates of the Caribbeans movie for the first time ✨

I had the first meeting for the inclusive eco-friendly catwalk (the one that includes reading) and the theme this edition is "One Upon A Time", so excited!!! This is the 4th edition, the first one was pre-covid. I participated since the very first one! Glad they're still happy to see me!

Me and Eria had two joint bass lessons, we worked on Hotel California! It was fun, and now we have a song to play together!

Had a great political discussion at my theatre group, but we weren't very productive ngl XD
