i have been playing a modpack called better beta, and it's been great. it's built on top of modern minecraft, but you can choose older versions of world generations and they'll carry over those textures as well. i always play with the alpha generation. only thing is it adds the from the fog mod, which makes herobrine pop up all the time. actually kinda fun until he replaces all your torches with redstone torches which pissed me off horribly

my xbox 360 copy is stuck on a really old version so anytime I play on there there's a lot of stuff missing but its kinda nice in a way

since ive always played mobile knockoffs instead of the actual thing im more familiar with old versions over new versions

yk, ive been thinking of starting an older playthrough. Might actually get around to it because of this post
