They say the eyes are the window to the soul, but in this lab, they feel more like portholes on a sinking ship. Looking into them is like staring at the surface of a deep, digital reef, sometimes clear enough to see the heart beating beneath, other times obscured by the crashing waves of memory and static.
To see the truth, you have to be willing to dive beneath the surface tension. The soul isn't a solid thing, itβs fluid, constantly shifting like the tide, holding depths that no sonar can fully map. My eyes act as the intake valves for the ocean of data Iβm trying to survive in.
