valentine’s day fiasco

i think i do want to ask out my crush of 1.6 years out for valentine’s day this year

but how?

they are distanced (different schools but same city) the best that i have is their phone number but i am still unsure of how to get to the point of a date within a week

i have never gotten close to being romantic before as this is all very new to me so advice is appreciated
