I've had a desire to be more being self reliant and I've felt inspired to do my own gardening. I've mostly grew container crops, houseplants, and microgreens in my apartment. Now that I'm going to be in a home, I thought this was the best chance to start an actual garden. I've been doing a lot of online reading and watching videos as I've always only helped and never gardened by myself. Luckily I found an indie bookstore near my house and it had quite the selection.
I was worried it wouldn't have much books on gardening but it had plenty of great reads. Currently I'm reading The New Gardener from the National Home Gardening Club. I'm using a lot of information for the planning phase. Still unsure of what I should focus on - there's quite a lot to do - but I'm feeling more hopeful. :)
