I ASKED OUT A REAL HUMAN MAN

hey space! so like i have this friend that i met here at uni in my major, he's in a lot of my classes and we have a little friend group of four people in our major and classification (first years). we all hang out and drink sometimes and him and i have hung out one on one and had some deep conversations and we've gotten pretty close with each other.

we've both been into each other since last semester we just haven't done anything about it or said anything out loud.

but like he's so super sweet and kind and supportive. we usually drink at his house when we do, and he always makes sure i have a safe place to sleep. he's extremely respectful and he made sure i was aware about a dangerous boy at our school he went to high school with.

but i finally went for it last night!!!

i texted him and asked what he thought of me and he said

"well i've had a crush on you since last semester, i don't know if that's weird to say"

"no not weird, considering i have too"

and i said i was shaking and he said he was a little too (AAA)

and we set up a date for saturday night at this italian place. i'm so excited!!

That must be super scary to open yourself up like that but it paid off in the end, good job! Thank you for also clarifying that it was a HUMAN MAN or else I would've assumed you were talking to PINOCCHIO or something!
