just to rant about the internet

this is kind of continuation off of my bulletin post but i hate the internet, i was never alive to experience the "peak" of online and internet culture and i'm not too upset i've missed it bcuz i think it's an awful mindset to stay wanting for a long gone past, but the internet, at least right now (and as long as awful people own literally everything) is just a cesspool, you have to fight and fight to have a decent feed on ANYTHING that's not just slop and ads with a few good GENUINLY interesting posts in-between, i'm not calling for like a 2000s internet revival but i just wish the it wasn't a tug of war between gore, porn, AI and ads. it's just brutal out there and there is such a vast amount of content creators that just put out bullshit for clicks, and that r just bad bad people and we give attention to them! isn't that crazy?? obviously i love brainrot on my feed sometimes and i am hypocritical in the fact i am invested in the lives of lolcows and am CONSTANTLY on the political front bcuz i like to stay updated, but i shouldn't have to endure just straight dogshit on my feed sifting for news or just content im interested in??
