Animal poetry hahaha

Maybe if I could be a wolf

They'd see me as I am

I'd be big and strong

And terrifying

And we'd be together

In a pack

You and me

I'd protect you

And you'd protect me

And we'd fight and howl

And maybe I wouldn't have to be so alone

Maybe this wolf nature calls to me in a way because that's not what it's like

I'm not a wolf

And I'm not terrifying

I feel like prey

Hunted down for sport

Captured by the hounds I so desperately wanted to be

Lost in my own flesh and blood

And maybe I'm an abomination

An animal so small I can barely be seen

An animal so scared I can barely be held

Do you want to be held?
