Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

I have often been described as a die-hard introvert. I was used to thinking so myself and was proud of it. In fact, recently, this question began to twitch my eyes. If I have introverted traits, it does not mean that I am an introvert. I do not think it is appropriate to categorize, even in terms of ambiversion, because ppl are so many-sided. If I don't "like people", it doesn't mean that I am a misogynist or a sociopath or that I am purely focused on my inner world.

Rather, in my experience, empty talk is very exhausting, and I have no desire to go to various "get-togethers" (I want to do my own thing/ I don't want to spend time traveling there and back). It's not because I need to recharge for better communication/socialization or I can't produce it, but because when you're among your own people, you don't feel weird or uncomfortable, no need to adjust either, you start to feel inspired, do not get a desire to run away, the emotional block disappears, and everything falls into place, it's a genuine connection.

And when you force yourself to "socialize" whether it's with neighbors or classmates/work, you end up thinking, "I wish this would end sooner, or why did I come here?"

Not being socially active and successful is not shameful. It's just another expectation of the norm. Why not do what your heart desires? What do I want to accomplish or surely do not want to become?

As one man said: "everything has its time", there is no point in rushing anything. If it doesn't flow/work, it doesn't. Allow yourself to be where you are now, don't force yourself.
