emphasis on how materialistic things end up the way they do

the certain placement of objects and the people around. i don't know why i notice this, i very commonly do. quite strange to think about or be surprised about, but really, all of this came to this very point in time because of other things and people, somehow..

i haven't written extensively in a little while

sometimes when i'm sitting in class or merely passing time at home, i notice the specific placement of things in my field of view or the interactions of other people. everything i'm looking at somehow got here, to be in this specific place, in this specific state at this specific second. it is right here because someone or something before that caused this object to land in this certain set of latitude and longitude. someone was using this tool before i was here and forgot/left it here, that's why its here. someone made the components for this object, another built it, the next brought it to this building, someone used it, gave it to the next person,  so on and so forth. now it is here, standing, waiting to be moved or progress in where it is headed next in our worldly timeline. is this making sense or am i just half asleep and spewing strange, unintelligible information?

when i'm in a public place and glance around at people, i think, they all have their own lives, with their own issues, complexities, insecurities, achievements, losses and important things. everyone is their own protagonist. i realize this and imagine myself as a small speck in the midst of all this, realizing the insignificance of my problems and annoyances. every human being has its own life, and oftentimes we speak to each other simply like characters in a game - just as person models, without any background. perchance you speak to a close friend about a conflict going on in your life, on which they comment with advice or a sincere reaction. but ignorantly enough, we seldom recognize that they have conflicts as well, only that they may choose not to tell for whatever personal reasons or we forget about. at that moment, all we are focused on is talking out your troubles to another soul, without thinking about the existence of their own. i don't really think this comes from narcissism, just active emotional intensity or the concentration on the specific thing you're circling around at your current stage of life. i'm not saying it's impossible, i should say that it unfortunately does turn out to be the case at times for a variety of individuals.

everything has a reason as to how it got here. the cup of tea on my table is there because i wanted a drink of tea, poured it, drank it, and left the cup until i got up. my clock states the current time because the rest of it i spent on something else when there was a different number displayed, that's why it is currently this specific date and hour and minute. you are reading this because something compelled your head to signal to your finger to click on this post. everything has a source, everything ended up in the state it is now because something happened or interfered. i'm sure me talking about this probably looks stupid to a majority of people, but i did want to point it out. everything is set up in its way, rotated in a certain direction, moved, pointed, dropped, because of something, for something

Not the precise thing you're talking about, but this reminds me of one of the words from 'The Dictionary of Obsecure Sorrows' (YouTube channel, there is also a book now)

The word is 'Sonder', the realisation that every person around you has a story as vivid and complex as your own. Your post reminds me of this but surpasses it.

I doubt there's a word for the realisation that every single thing has a story, a sequence of events, a sequence of people involved in creating it. But I have also felt this.

In school I found it to be the strongest - Something about knowing just how many people had been through the same building, doing the same thing, years prior. Their tiny marks changing everything slightly - This extends beyond the physical too.

Teachers, molded and changed by years of teaching hundreds of students. Rules in the school that came about from something a student did half a decade ago. A constantly changing, morphing world with a complex history of which, we likely never will and never can know the intricacies of.

Everything is connected.

because of something, for something. incredibly well put, I too find myself contemplating about these matters very often, it applies to people too. when you think about it, every person you interact with, changes something within you, for the next person you interact with to take from you. i probably don't make sense right now, lol.

i completely understand what you're saying - the effect that was just applied to you will now be put on the next thing/individual you interact with.. butterfly effect or something)
