Cousin's birthday blog

My cousin and his fiancé recently took a road trip over here because of a recent passing in my family. It was his birthday yesterday, and we decided to still celebrate while we organized the funeral and whatnot, because we didn't want to be all depressed this whole time.

Sushi for Dinner

We went to this Japanese restaurant for dinner, and they had this all-you-can-eat sushi menu. I've never tried sushi before, but when they came with the rolls, I fell in love with all of them, except this eel roll. Such a shame that I don't recall the name of my favorite, because we ordered so much, it all came on one large plate, and we all just picked at it. All I remember is that it was a bit spicy, it had orange stuff in it, it had the rice wrapped outside, and it had some black sprinkled seasoning on the outside.

If anyone knows the name of that sushi, let me know!!

Cake and Games

We then went back to my sister's place, where we ate this cake my cousin's fiancé made. It was a really simple Biscoff cookie cheesecake, but man, it was so good. I went back for, like, fourths! We played this virtual version of Clue, and it was confusing trying to remember how to play. I thought I was doing a good job marking who had what clue, but my cousin won twice way before I felt confident in making an accusation.
