Hey guys! It's been a while (I know nobody reads these, and that's a good thing).
So since I've turned 18, I have had a lot of big life events. I moved out, and I have a new job. Still single and a perpetual loser, but there's not much I can do about that. I have a new car since I crashed the last one, and I finally realized how unlucky I am. At first I thought life was just shitty, but the streaks of bad luck I'm having are ridiculous. Like, what do you mean the second I start liking a guy and get vocal about it, he falls for my friend? And to top it all off, it's 20 degrees outside, and I am sick. I haven't written a good song since my girlfriend and I broke up back in May, and that bothers me to my core. Also, I have no clue what to cook for dinner, so that sucks too. Somebody save me from this nightmare old people call "adulthood."

too bad for u someone did read this lol. but wow the US sounds like a nightmare I can't imagine actually being expected to magically transform to a fully grown responsable adult at 18. I'm barely holding out and my only responsibility is uni and probably cooking for myself. you'll be okay tho, goodluck<3<3

sounds like you're from the US? so funny to read this bc where i live it's uncommon for young adults to live on their own, the majority stay with their parents until they at least graduate university (or even marry). thought some crazy shit was bound to happen when i turn 18 but im 19 now and the age number doesn't affect anything. except now i can oficially give out advices to high schoolers when they ask as a quote on quote grown up lol. as for your dinner try making lentil soup, it's cheap, quick and easy to make, nutritious, tastes like heaven and pretty healthy!!:)
exactlyyyy it's odd the emphasis they put on turning 18 when it's really not all that, just another year.

yepp but at the same time i myself am lowkey scared of turning 20, wdym my age wont start with 1 anymore (╥﹏╥)
