Yes, you read the title right. To be more specific, it's a Summer 2001 Snow model, with a 500mHz G3 chip. I upgraded it to 1GB of RAM, because it was only at, like, 300? 256? I forget. It's running 10.4.11 Tiger. Of course, with any one of these old iMacs, fixing/upgrading is kind of a given. So I plan to:
1. Get replacement speakers (the speakers on slot-loading iMac G3's are known to rot, as mine have).
2. Change out the old 5400 RPM 20GB HDD for something like a 128GB SSD.
3. Maybe get a new CD/DVD drive/burner. (Mine can only do CD's and burn CD's right now).
4. This isn't really something I can fix, and I don't know if I really want to try, but the screen has weird colour issues (Not big, but noticeable and slightly annoying).
I might have to save this game I found on the hard disk, it's kind of like Mario Kart? It's called Cro-Mag Rally. And even without a modern browser, the Safari that it came with is surprisingly okay at clicking around very light websites. I actually found this website with lots of old Flash games. Although, SpaceHey would not work with it, so I have a modern browser (InterWebPPC) that works even better. You can even watch YouTube, just with some workarounds.
There's not really much else to say, so bye for now.

The title is only impressive if you have the knowledge of what a G3 is
As in the processor itself? The PowerPC 750cx.

As in, the average person doesn't know how old that is

Well at least you do. But it's up to everyone else who reads this to figure it out, or already know and be all like, "Oh yeah, that computer."
