LOCKDOWN DRILLS

The school system sucks. For example drills. Like for lockdown drills the want all of us to sit in a clump in the corner, like, someone could easily open the door and bam. 20 kids gone. Also a lot of times kids who are the shooters know exactly where everyone’s gonna be. Also, again, a locked door ain’t doing shit. I feel like there’s thousands of ways we could possible make it safer.

Another stupid thing we do is to try and do anti bullying things. Idk if your school does this but Dylan’s rings of change. It’s where during homeroom students build community and stuff after an incident where an elementary school boy passed due to a student, who was being bullied, shot up a school. Those community building things don’t help anyone. 

All kids want is to feel safe at school, but clearly everything adults are trying to do is not working.Thats all. For today. Have a good day.
