I cant say its the same for other people, and its not an exact answer to your question, but when I really understood what true love felt like to me it got me off my ass. It made me motivated to do everything for her, it pulled a productive side out of me, wanting to better myself for her, wanting to make sure I can do everything to make her happy and secure. Love is different for everyone, and you cant have the complete answer for yourself until you've lived through it enough.
