Rant about the alternative community

Can the alt community FUCKING DECIDE WHAT IS ALT AND WHAT IS NOTT??? Can yall touch grass or smth?? One day u say somewhere (most probably on tik tok lol) that your like emo or smth for example and suddenly your BOMBED with people calling you a poser without knowing ANYTHING, even if you listen to real emo music, know the history even FUCKING dress that way BUT..BUT... EMOS DONT CALL THEMSELVES EMO!!!! POSER!!!! Like holy shit emily no one gives a fuck??? Other parts of community dont have it better tbh... Goths have been attacked with tacky-ass shein-wearing trump-supporting BITCHES who think goth has nothing to do with politics.. and also why am i seeing nazi punks on my fyp?? The hell is going on with you guys?? Last thing.. can someone deadass tell me what bands are classified as "emo" cuz i think i lost my mind in all this bullshit.
