Ok yall so i have been a massive fan of melanie martinez since i was five years old, and recently i stopped listening as much cause im lowkey in my emo alt phase. her new so possession has been getting a lot of hate and she's had a lot of backlash for it. i truly don't support hating on artists especially ones who have gone through so much with fans in the past. Like show and tell, hello??? but truly i think that the world has just made her lose her spark. she stopped wearing cute colors and has been online less and less in her "portals" persona of just flat out enjoying herself. again im never one to hate on one of my idols but im disappointed not with melanie, but with her fans and the people around her who caused her to lose her spark. i clearly can't control the whole internet to be nice to melanie because yk i js cant lol. but she never deserved this. lol also possession is not that bad a song it's just more lowkey for her.🖤
