Gap book

I had an itch to go to the thrift. So I went yesterday(ya technically yesterday. It's 12:38am typing this) I went there just to kill time with no expectation of finding anything. I surfed through the shoes just maybe I might find some weird shoes. Next, I moved to the furniture area. Nothing. From there, to the electronics. Some cool 2000s stereos speakers were there. Didn't need them. Nothing. There was a large book at showcase. And by large I mean MASSIVE. I haven't seen this book in 10 years. It was an anatomy book. Cool but didn't need it and it would take up space. Now finally behind the counter before leaving. Video games, camera equipment, helmets...nothing caught my eye. UNTIL I saw Gap. Was it clothes? I move to the side. No I see pages. I speak to the Goodwill employee asking about it. I'm expecting it to be $20 since the expensive stuff tends to be behind the counter. I flipped through it and had small chat with the employee. I bought it for $7.

So why did I buy it?

You may not know I'm big into fashion so instinctively I just had to.

^Here is the cover. Being greeted with a male celebrity model. I proceed to open the book and see...

FRUTIGER METRO!! And the classic GAP logo. So I wonder what year it is.

The book was filled with portraits and some full bodies as well. Sarah Jessica Parker wearing the most Y2k thing(her pic was taken in 02), Karl Lagerfield, Whoppi Goldberg, Ashton Kutcher, Jean Paul Gautier and more! I thought I was just getting a book until I found...

A CD!! And it was unopened!! (Gotta love the play on the 'a'). I noticed popular artists like Earth, Wind and Fire and Bill Withers. I haven't gave it a listen yet.

Thank you for reading my blog(I feel like Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex In the City just typing this).

That's really cool. Also answering the question you asked about the energy drink marketing: SO what I have found out is that advertising energy drinks such as Monster is being regulated in some countries in Europe especially in the UK for people under 18. Also I must say just from my own experience that for example Red Bull is still huge in advertisment since they have the drink involved in every sports they support.
