Projects are SO annoying!!!!!

To start off I am homeschooled, I know some people may think homeschooling is easy. Which most of the time it is, but when it comes to projects, it's nothing but hell! My school gives me so many projects that I don't even have enough time to do my ACTUAL schoolwork. One of my most hated projects is the 20,000 league under the sea project. And whats worse is that it's not even started yet, I just got finished with the essay that took me 6 days to finish, and now I have to do the ACTUAL project. Why can't homeschool projects be atleast once a few months? Why do they all have to be crunched into one? Pls wish me luck :(
