close your eyes and try to let your brain wander. focus on the sounds of your mind, not what you're hearing or feeling outside, like maybe a song looping in your head or a stream of though. Try to let go of it completely -- let go of yourself completely. Let your body fully relax and relax all of your muscles.
Sometimes that helps me.
You could also listen to music or a video that is soothing and then focus only on that when you close your eyes until it fades out of your consciousness
