• The holiday was created by Todd  Page in 2007. The idea came about during his anthropology class.  He found the activity so entertaining that he decided to make it an official holiday and popularized it through social media. 

How to celebrate Draw a Dinosaur Day? 

1. Draw your favorite dinosaur!
2. Have a contest!  You can get your friends together and have a contest on who makes the best dinosaur. 
3.  Make a 3d dinosaur model using items such cardstock, pipecleaner, or air dry modeling clay.
