First of all, there will probably will be more talking than anything useful at all, because I'm still figuring out how to sew properly and can't teach anyone (;^ω^)
Jjk is kind of an anime that was very hard to get into, because I've seen too many spoilers and I couldn't bear to watch characters suffer. Well, I still can't, I'm only watching season one. If I'm being honest, I started watching it because my friend likes it, and she has said that I'm similar to Yuji. Naturally, I got curious (also because the openings are awesome), and finally started watching! It turns out I really do act like Yuji lol... A bit too much actually, he's too relatable. So I decided I want to cosplay as him! I didn't give it much thought, so I really hope I won't regret spending my time and money later, but something tells me I won't.
I ordered this nice red fleece fabric for the hoodie, but when I got it I realized I bought too little, so it looks like I'll need to order some more... Bad planning, I know, but it is what it is.

Since it's basically just a hoodie with a hood that has buttons, I decided I could just trace one of my hoodies. Now, is it a reliable method? Not exactly, every time I use it I need to make corrections. But I definitely don't have the money or the recources to buy patterns or go and print them out, so this works well enough.

You can barely see it, unfortunately, because I don't have a very good camera, but here I make the hoodie itself a bit more narrow and the sleeve holes smaller, because I'm worried it will otherwise cause me some trouble with that dark blue jacket thing?
Once I traced one half of the hood, I realized there's no way I can make space for the second one, so it looks like I'll have to wait until the second batch of the fabric arrives.
And that means it's time for cutting out the pieces! I got a pair of sewing scissors for new year, which I sadly managed to drop a couple times.... But they still cut well!

And again, you can't see it fully, but there are two halves for the body and one half of future hood! Now I think I will sew the body parts together while I wait, but I will post it in next part.
If you've read this far, thank you and have a great day:)
