i thought that there's a problem with my cpu heating up to 98C during playing fortnite, but i looked up about it on reddit and i guess such temperatures are quite fine for gaming laptops xd
at least it doesn't turn off because of overheating and thanks god never did

highly depends on what you do with your laptop, how the cooling system works, and what kind of tech you have inside of it. if its an intel cpu (especially 12-14th gen) i wouldnt be surprised to hear it overheating.
biggest problem with high temperatures is the risk of the silicone straight up melting, which ends up slowing down or ruining your processor (or gpu if thats the one that heats up the most).
usually youd want to aim for at most 85°c during gaming, or shorter 90+ sessions. for longevity sake, of course. Also, depending on the laptop, yours might have a setting to manually set the fan speeds too, which might help it a little more (especially if paired with an external cooler too, or just having the laptop propped up on something with its fans accessible)
It turns out the laptop was overheating because the bearing on one of the cooling system's fans was worn out, also causing the humming noise. I replaced the fan, and everything returned to normal :D

fine is a strong word, i would say it's normal. i have an msi laptop that gets super hot and i'm planning on opening it up and cleaning out the dust/fans and re-applying thermal paste to the cpu and gpu. this isn't ultra necessary, but if you have some experience working with pc parts and want your laptop to run more efficiently, this could definitely extend the life time of the computer.
well, i did the same thing but nothing changed sooo yeaaa
