I've been trans ftm for ~6 ish years now and still dont look as masculine as i want. i still often get misgendered and such despite how masculine i present myself with how i dress and my hair and everything. Is there any tips you guys could give??

any medical-ish tps too are fine!! just has to be medical stuff i can hide from my parents. anything helps thank you!l!!

I have a transmasc friend and they told me that they use make up to like define their features! Like to make their facial features more sharp or even to add false stubble

I just asked them! They said that they use a little bit of neutral colored eye-shadow(shades of brown or black mostly) or mascara on their upper lip to make facial hair and sometimes on their eyebrows to make them look thicker and more full^^ I think you could also use a contour or eye-shadow to make your jawline sharper, deepen your eyes, make your nose bigger, ect. but that might take a few times to fully get the hang of if you haven't done makeup before lol if you're struggling a bit there are a BUNCHHH of YouTube/TikTok tutorials to help guide you ^^

I think it just comes with the territory with looking "out of place" in a civil context. Even as someone who is not trans I got mislabeled for just having a smooth face and long hair.

I'd honestly just say stick to what ever you are comfortable with. It's honestly hard to look masculine without looking dirty especially if you go the facial hair rout. Best thing I can suggest is a workout routines that help build up the upper body to a fitness you are comfortable with, nothing more masculine than muscles if I understand gender tropes correct.
