Okay, so, as of yesterday, I'm officially in year 10. Which is awesome, and scary. We've fully integrated now, and tomorrow's my first full day of classes. Starting with English, leading into music, extended homeroom, and finishing off with science. (yes four classes. weird. I know. ) I can;t believe I've had to leave this blog alone for so long! So, to update you on what's happened. I've started making a miku cosplay, And I've started writing fanfiction. the end of the holidays were kinda anti climactic. apart fro church camp, which was incredible. Honestly, I felt more connected with god than I'd been for years.
Anyways my little starlets! the current happenings in the media WE (yes, we) consume has gotten a bit off the rails, so I'll disscuss my thoughts:
SPIDER VERSE IS IN ONE YEAR RAGHHHHH
MADOKA MAGICA WALPURGISNACHT RISING GOT DELAYED AGAIN. UGHHHHHHHHHHH
SPLATOON RAIDERS RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHOOOOO
TOMODACHI LIFE DIRECT YEAHHHHHHH
OSHI NO PEAK SEASON # AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
It's too good. I can;t even wait until tomorrow morning. It's making me sick to my stomach. Opening?: peak. ending?: peak. maybe it's just because I love this show so much that I end up liking the songs, but like, test me kinda makes me think of Ado, who I was surprised didn't do the vocals, after all, she can sing normally outside of her peak screaming. but no. it wasn't her. whoever didi do this opening it the Lauren to ado's laufey, or the Clark Rainbow, to her Pinkpantheress...... Do you even know who I'm yapping about? sorry, sorry
Right! About my new school. It's quite nice. my only complaint is that it's huge. which is a good thing but out of all of my classes. One of them is on the ground floor. I'm always in a classroom that starts with two. My favourite classrooms currently are the art room, ,y homeroom, and the English classroom that's like, atop rapunzel's tower. which, let me elaborate: I have to walk u 4 sets of stairs, which spiral arunf this spiral tower, to get to this class. and its english. it's for the whole year. Icl ts pmo. It's okay tho, dearest ekki is in my class!!!
Other than that it's great, I'm supposed to be doing the design hw I got saddled with, but I'm blogging. hehehe.
Anyways, you didn't think I'd just talk at you without offering anything, did you?
I've been writing an animal crossing fanfic, revolving around my villagers lives on my Island.
Sunlight gently preened the edges of the horizon, as the resident rep waited for the new island broadcast in her room. She stopped for a moment to admire the emerald green sky-It was breathtaking. She rarely ever stayed up this early, usually retiring around 10 pm, for the sake of her many projects. As a young engineering major, Temwani was always up and about developing new projects for the island/town, but that always left her a little burnt out. She was no stranger to naps taking hours, even days…Would it be…such
a.… shame…to….
…zzz….
-No!
The sound of hands slamming on the desk startled some Gyroids awake.
“You’ve gotta wait for them, Temwani!!” she lectured her reflection in the white, floor-length mirror she kept next to her bright pink dresser. The whole room was pink. After all, it was her favourite colour. It was a little childish though. Maybe she should redecorat-
Ding! Dong! Etc! She heard the town bell chime. She excitedly paced over to her radio in the main room for the morning announcements.
“Good morning everyone!! Today is January 26, 2026. I’m sharing the news today that robin will be leaving us tomorrow so….” She couldn't help but excitedly mash the a button before rushing out the door. Like clockwork, Her packages had arrived!! She couldn't help but wonder who it was who was so dedicated to delivering her mail at 5am on the dot each morning. But she silently thanked them anyway, gazing over the decor for the next set of projects. She smiled, giddy with the urge to get up, create right this second…then quickly overcome with the urge to fall down, sleep, immediately. It took everything she had to to collapse on the doorstep! She limped away to her bed and flung herself on it. Without a second thought, Temwani fell asleep. A small bird watched on from the nearest palm tree, tilting its head as if to say:
“The Walking Dead…”
Soon dawn actually rose on Maka Wuhu, and the sound-asleep residents slowly awoke. The first was Roald, who’d jolted awake at 6:00 AM, (30 minutes earlier than usual!!!), brimming with excitement for his morning workout. Giddy, he grabbed his hand weights and worked on his upper body, then he’d do a few stretches before going out for his morning run. As he got his reps in, his eyes drifted from the blue wall in front of him out of the window. He admired the (Very new!!!) early morning tides as they rolled in through the morning's mist. The resident rep had suggested, (or, rather somewhat stated) that he’d move down south closer to the beach, (in light of a new project she was working on no doubt). Despite his general appreciation for the old spot he’d lived in: Just atop one of the highest cliffs on the island, he found himself giddy with the prospect of exploring a new morning route, especially by starting from a different location! New cures and twists and turns… projects he hadn’t seen before it was so… awesome!!!., While he had appreciated his old route, and its extreme, train in the mountains vibe. He also lamented that he couldn't take his old pal Monty with him anymore.
“I’m gettin’ too old for this…” he sighed when Roald moved up there. Maybe now he’d change his attitude.
Roald set off on his run to an immediate fork in the road, choosing to dodge the town flower garden, and making his way past the post office instead. Attached to the resident reps house, the building didn’t stir. He wasn’t surprised. Most everyone was asleep at this hour, but that was part of what he loved about running. The peace, the quiet. The crisp freshness between each pace and each breath. The dull sound of his feet pounding the pavement. It helped him get his mind off things. Not that there were many things on his mind in the first place. An old friend always used to say he was more brawns than brains. “ Who needs brains when you’re super ripped!!” He protested. Island life was great anyways!! It was the best place for him and his hobbies. He’d even taken up some new ones! Bug catching, reading, fishing….
“Maybe we could go fishing today b-b-buddy!!” Roald, exclaimed, zealous as ever, and in Monty's face, or rather doorway, as ever.
“How about… g’mornin?” Monty said slowly. He had gotten used to Roald's…zest for life by now, but sometimes he came by so early ....It hadn't helped that it’d been awhile since his last early morning visit, since they didn't live so close anymore.
“Let’s discuss this run thing after a bit of coffee?" Monty suggested. He wasn't as much of an early bird as his Roald. He had an established routine. And that routine involved coffee, his favourite old tunes from stitches' record shop, and a very close relationship with the blanket wrapped around his shoulders. The penguin buzzed on, however, taking not a single step into the house.
“That’s just it! My new route passes by the roost b-b-buddy! Maybe we can grab some coffee there?” There was something in his big, round, sparkly penguin eyes the monkey couldn’t say no to.
As she watched her neighbor speed off with Roald-to the museum or no doubt as Stitches’ wasn’t open yet- Robin couldn’t help but feel like a second thought on the island. Tomorrow she was moving away, and she knew she wasn’t anyone’s least favourite, she wasn’t anyone's favourite either. Everyone on the island had their favourites: Monty did his best to be a good neighbour, but it was clear that he was closer to Roald, and he kept a pretty private life all things considered. She’d never even seen the inside of his home. She sighed and picked up a box. This one was where she stored all of her favorite memories. It was as empty as when she’d arrived. Then there was Celia and Piper, who lived just below the cliff she lived on. The duo were neighbors, and while they weren’t the closest, but it was clear they were good friends. Though Piper seemed to get along with just about anyone! Robin just never felt confident enough to talk to her…And Celia? She was shy, just like Robin. What if she’d just bother her? She always made the most beautiful arrangements of flowers…did Robin ever get the chance to compliment them?
And there was Sandy and Pashmina. The young ladies had all but perfected the business they ran together, and Pashmina seemed to be doing better than when phoebe left. They’d always extended an open hand to her, but it was clear that the duo kept to themselves right?
She pondered, shoving her gown into a box….right?
