Do you guys ever come across an incredibly, and I mean INCREDIBLY, underground band just for them and their music to suddenly disappear almost everywhere?
When I was in 8th grade, I had discovered a band from Illinois known as Venus Slipper and their song “Apple Sore.” Even to this day I had still been listening to it, but as of this month or maybe even last month their music was taken off of streaming and even YouTube, along with the artist profile.
To make matters even more frustrating, it was hard enough to even find their socials. They only had one album by the time I had discovered them in middle school, and I think the only thing they had uploaded maybe a few months or a year later was a cover of “Better Off Alone” by Alice Deejay. None of their songs had lyrics that were uploaded or could be looked up either.
Around this time, I did some digging and I was able to find their Instagram and also their Bandcamp. Luckily, however, both of these socials are still accessible despite their insta no longer being updated. I will include the links to these at the bottom of the blog so anyone who wants to check them out can.
The fact that they stopped making music isn’t what bothers me. It’s the fact that when they disappeared their music went with them, which sucks because they were already hard to come across with little to no information about them.
If I can find anything else about this band and what might’ve happened, I’ll update this blog. But for now, go ahead and check them out while the information left behind is still available.
Happy listening :)

I'm really not sure how people find such niche artists. I find it hard to chow through new music so I've never felt the need to look very deep.
I honestly don’t even know how I come across niche artists half of the time atp. They kinda just find me lol
