Little did i know that a little program called Klik and Play would be the catalyst towards me getting to learn computer logic and software engineering. I make tiny minigames every once in a while as a hobby in Godot Engine (i've never really released anything to the public) things like exploration games, action RPGs, or just a simple platformer if i'm feeling especially unimaginative that day.

I am not an artist, i didn't bother to train my drawing skills since i was 7 years old, so i stagnated in that regard (my games are pretty much just squares moving around and shooting each other), even still, i find myself enjoying more the syntax, logical and mathematical aspects of the code.
I recommend everyone who isn't a computer nerd to just sit back and learn a simple little programming language, like Python or GDScript to get your feet wet. Once you learn one language you will see that these skills you learned can be used with little to no resistance on other languages.
You can use your new found programming skills as an artistic outlet: Make a game, or just a simple calculator, i don't know! It's up to you, and you have endless posibilities. There's little mathematics involved (unless you need to make something a little more complicated, then you have to use some trigonometry or other linear algebra)
Sometimes, it may feel like you're just banging your head repeatedly against a wall while trying to test some broken code, but once you break through it and figure everything out, you will see that its the most satisfying stuff you will ever experience.
As for using these skills in the job market, i am not sure how that's going and it seems like there is a bit of a oversaturation of programmers around my area (getting a job here was a miracle, i tell you). But do not let that stop you! Programming is a skill that will make your brain grow big and strong, and it is something that you will never regret learning.

Cool post! Have you ever thought of using clipart for character art?
