The wall hook saga (mini compilation of bulletins from yesterday to today)

Preface

This saga began last night on January 26 when the wall hook on the right door of my locker fell. I was slightly angry at the time of the first bulletin's creation.

During that time, I accidentally closed the app. As a result the original first part was gone, and I had to recreate it from what I remember. Some details may be omitted.

Part 1 (1/26/2026)

"Wall hooks"

Last month, I bought 3 wall hooks for my locker door. They came with some strips of double-sided foam tape with a really strong adhesive.

I placed 2 on the left door for my clothes, and one on the right for my three bags (because they take up a lot of space when I put them inside).

Today, the wall hook on the right kept falling. Even when I put them back in place. I did that at first, but it managed to yield in less than 25 days. That's when I thought to myself... I must have messed up while putting the foam tape on it. Or did the adhesive get weak?

So, I decided to strengthen that bond by putting stick glue on it. The idiot in me forgot that the stick glue is wet when first applied. I made the mistake of letting it dry, but after some testing it did not fucking work. And no matter how well that wall hook stuck to the door, it fell along with my bags.

I fixed that with MORE double-sided tape, but it still fucking fell. Even when I put away my school bag since it is always full of stuff.

So, I decided to give my wall hooks names... after the three hillbilly brothers¹ from "Kummeli"².

The one on the very left on the locker is named "Pekka". Pekka can carry up to 4 hangers, even when they have my school uniforms. He can also carry 2 jeans by the belt strap.

The one next to Pekka is named "Henri". He gets the lightest burden because I always hang my outside clothes (even my jeans) on him.

Meanwhile the idiot on the right door is "Arttu". His double-sided tape was messed-up, and as a result, he was messed-up too. Arttu is a pain in the ass. He used to carry ALL THREE BAGS, even my not-so-heavy school bag.

Today, he gave up his job. Now, he can barely carry 2 empty ones for as long as 5 minutes. NOT EVEN MORE DOUBLE SIDED TAPE can fix his bond!!

Sometimes I feel bad for Arttu, and the only way I can lessen his burden is by putting my school bag away³. But he refuses to show gratitude anyway...

And as a result, I removed his foam tape, so I can buy another one. They sell those at the stationery store at walking distance, so, that's good news. No fare wasted, exercise is guaranteed.

Where can I put my bags now? Oh wait. Henri is there.⁴

Part 2 (1/27/2026)

"Wall hooks 2: the nanotape"

Today, I did not buy any foam tape. But they did have nanotape!

When I put it on Arttu, he finally worked as intended. He can carry 2 bags for now, and he's no longer an idiot anymore. As for his reward, I put him as high as his brothers.

The problem is... Nanotape has become an interest of mine. Just by looking at it, I find its clearness beautiful, almost like a jewel. It smells like bubbles too.
