Why do people steal packages?

I was supposed to get an SD card reader that was capable of reading the memory stick for my new camera, but I found out someone just snatched it from my front door. :/ I'm getting a replacement for it but I'm still kind of mad about it. 

Yeah, I only paid like $10 dollars for it, but really? Are people that desperate to steal? Mind you, I don't think the person who stole it is gonna end up using it anyway. Now you're just making it inconvenient for me, and for no reason at all either. 

But yeah, that's my rant for this blog. Don't steal other people's packages. >:(
