I don’t know if this happens to you too, but I absolutely love travelling. 

Whenever I do, I feel amazing, and I genuinely enjoy learning about other cultures, languages, and people. I think travelling is also a really cool way to discover yourself and to fill yourself with knowledge, memories, and unique experiences.

I’ve travelled quite a bit, but I’d love to travel more once I’ve saved enough money. One trip I’d absolutely love to make is to Japan. It’s always been a country that has fascinated me (Asia in general, really), but my curiosity has grown even more thanks to anime.

I’ve always liked anime. When I was little I used to watch Shin Chan and Naruto, and my dad would always put Dragon Ball for me. But over the past few years, I’ve actually watched complete series, and I really enjoy them. I wouldn’t consider myself an expert at all, and I’m not into cosplay. I’ve read a bit of manga here and there, but not a lot. Still, I’ve watched many series, and I genuinely like it.

There are so many aspects of Japanese culture that appear in these series and my interest has grown even more. From what I know, Japanese society is strongly based on respect and kindness. This morning I was watching TikTok videos and random profiles of young Japanese people started popping up on my feed, and I thought… could this be a sign? Someone please pay me a trip to Japan :(
