smartphones r driving me crazy

im gonna sound like an old man saying this but theres not a second of silence without SOMEBODY on their smartphone. Maybe im getting a big head over having a flipphone but even my damn father cant watch a flick without grabbin his phone and (loudly) scrolling through facebook. Am i crazy for thinking more ppl need to realize how addictive smartphones and social media have been programed to be?? And im called "strong" or "brave" for doing something anybody with a spine can do?? am i insane??? dont praise me for this??

Edit: Litterally my father wont look me in the eye as i tell him about something ive been working on for ages, only on his phone. I feel like im going actually insane
