after showers, keep your hair on one side until it dries to get natural side bangs ! also use a disposable razor on strands of hair on the side of your bands to get that slight choppiness of emo hair. thats probably key. and dont be afraid to use the flat iron !!!!!
also, it might seem super uncomfortable when you first start doing side bangs, but when you get used to it and do it correctly, you literally dont even feel or notice them. they start looking better after a while too. thats just my experience btw.... might not work exactly the same for you, especially if you have a different hair texture XD (i'm white and half armenian, so my hair is pretty naturally straight and has a bit of volume. i still straighten it, though, it gives that look of perfectly straight early 2000s trend hair !!)
