help !!!! antidepressant (wellbutrin/bubububupropion) advice please ?!?!?!?!?

started taking wellbutrin around december 2024. its been working so far, but for the past month its been steadily lessening. not much in my life is worse so why have i been so much more moody and nihilistic lately ??? i dont feel suicidal, but itd be better if i died. not that i will attempt but yk. does anyone know why the wellbutrin has been weaker recently ? any similar experiences abt antidepressants just randomly weakening would be appreciated. i think the wellbutrin still works, just... not as well. i dont want to bring this up to my psychiatrist and seem like im just desperate for a higher buzz or something (does wellbutrin even give a 'buzz'??) cus like. maybe its just all in my head (which now that i think about it, thats literally how MDD works. but still). i dont want to be dramatic. plz advice or personal experience !!

Meds don't fix everything unfortunately, you're still going to have symptoms of mental illness whatever dose you're on. A higher dose could help, but make sure you're practicing coping and taking care of yourself too.

I have MDD as well but i take Zoloft 150 mg. when I first started it, it didn't really work. like yeah I felt it doing something but they had to gradually increase it till it evened out and stayed that way. it could be if you just started it, its not effective and need a higher dose (but give it like 3 weeks before trying a higher dose it could be your body adjusting) or maybe if youve been taking it for a while and its weakening, your body is getting used to it and would need higher dosage to remain the steady, healthy feeling. But I'd take what I say with a grain of salt because I'm on a lot of high dosage medications and everybody reacts different to different medicines
