I need help

Like some random dude texted me like a week ago. The first message literary was “hello! I saw your profile and u look pretty cool!” (It was another social, he DMed me replying to a foto of me). He seemed nice, plus I don't like to leave people on seen, so I answered.

We talked, but the same day he proposed me to be more than friends, I told him that no, because relationships take time and because I'm demiromantic. He told me he understood, but no.

THAT SAME DAY, he started asking me for photos of my face to put them on his phone wallpaper. I told him no. he told me he understood. BUT HE ASKED ME AGAIN! AND AGAIN!.

I started ignoring those requests, and out of the blue he starts calling me thing like “my love”, “darling”…

I don't want to block him bc he told me his exes were bad to him, and he starts telling me "I always get blocked anyway”. I know. Pick me boy behaviour. But that is actually getting into me because I'm very empathetic.

I don't know what to do to not fell bad blocking him, or if I should explain all of this to him to see if he can change.

Someone help me.

I didn't block him, but I won't text him nor answer him until I don't feel that bad about blocking him.
