(spoiler: contains a random storytime abt my lil protest against ai @ the end xd)

2day @ school we were supposed 2 render our workz nd submit em 2 b graded tmrw. most of us did it early so we had nthng 2 do 4 the rest of the day. me nd my friends were jst hanging out in our fav studio (that we kinda claimed alrd as its always empty) when we heard fckass HAZBIN HOTEL playing from the next door. theres a whole class of hazbin hotel fans @ our school guys </3 so we did what we had 2 do nd BLASTED these bangerz on max volume on the school speakers

i also spent the whole day playing DVloper gamez xdd crazy nostalgia combo. the slendrina 1s were way ezier than i rmmbr i feel so old now

ya nd heres a frame from 1 of my animations (not showing the whole thing 4 privacy rsns as it contains 2 much info). it was 4 a flight cycle assignment (lame ik). nd no, its not a prblm of my camera dis time, it was intended 2 b this low grainy old tv quality x3

i had artblock 4 so long nd was stuck on this. (u may hv noticed my earlier entry abt it that was basically a whole ass existential crisis xd wtf was dat (ik damn well)) my breaking point was the moment i found out my school started using ai 4 their posters. it hit me, the realisation that i was there, struggling w 1 lame animation while their ai kept effortlessly stealing art. i got so mad that i decided 2 finish this no matter what. so even tho i ltrlly couldnt draw anymore, i used what made me different from any robot - i animated pix of my own human hands. its defo not my best work bt im proud of what i managed 2 do despite the restrictions.

abt the ai posters, i defo didnt want this BS representing my school. my ART school. so i myself redrew all of em. next i gave them straight 2 my HoD nd made him admit it looked way better drawn by human. i argued w him abt it b4 bt now it wasnt even needed. he kindly (publicly!) apologised, replaced the ai posters by the ones i did nd it got way more attention than we expected! since then i got the role 2 manage all our posters. (i got two new event poster requests jst 2day!) they also asked me 2 make stickers that r now all over the school :D walls, lockers, signs, students' laptops nd tablets, EVEN THE CAR 4 FILM STUDENTS. ppl traded em like pokemon cards xdd

this is 1 of my proudest achievements @ this school. not a big thing, bt its the statement nd the change i managed 2 do that matters 2 me. its also the reason u wont c me shut up abt h8ing ai sm. i almost watched it take the job that couldve always been human's nd i am proud i took it back.

lesson learned: my artblock immediately disappears once im driven by pure h8 >:D
