Rude Classmates

Why do some people genuinely think it would be super unbelievably funny to hurt a person and mess up their stuff. Today was absolutely terrible, an item got stolen, I tried to get it back from the person, I got thrown at a desk and I hurt my elbow really badly. Then I left to the bathroom for about three minutes and came back to my drawings having scribbles over them and racial slurs along them. I’m white but they think it’s funny to write the n word on absolutely everything. Then after confronting them they don’t even have the respect to feel a tiny little bit bad about themselves? I genuinely find it surprising how far they can go sometimes. After all of that I still got teased. A teacher saw everything too but didn’t do anything. I know a lot of people would love to say “welcome to the world” to this but I think it shouldn’t be as normalized to hurt both on the outside and inside. I get called names daily. I’ve gotten used to that. But getting hurt this much genuinely sucks and shouldn’t be considered normal. I got ridiculed for feeling pain and being upset which made me feel like I was overreacting at the moment which I now feel like I haven’t.
