(VtR) Running Vampire the Requiem for the first time, advice needed.

So i have played Vampire in a local LARP for two years and have played two other campaigns, one of them finished. I’ve also played around four other RPG systems and have some exposure to Werewolf and Mage: The Awakening. I have DMed for a premade campaign in DND but I have always wanted to ST on vampire. I don’t currently have an ST, so I figured: how hard can it be?

I’ve started reading Damnation City to build my own city. Any advice is welcome. Id love some ST tips for beginners, some advice on how you keep tabs on everything, what books are very important and what mistakes I can avoid as a first time ST. 

I was thinking a short campaign. I was thinking of something cliché, like covid season, blood is tainted, all vitae is controlled. u know create some scarcity. Players will be presented with two options, either become hounds and survey who gets unauthorised vitae, or be the ones that steal the vitae for a lord or both. Simple, trackable and easy. Small town. Any other ideas are welcome too. Ask me freely for any clarifications.
