Opinions On P!ATD AFYCSO Deluxe Edition

awesome

fckn awesome

the remasters:

well the remasters are very good but i cant say that they were a total change of the album (like the Revenge remaster, that was a huge change for everything) but its really nice to hear a kind of modern approach in terms of quality and definition, i think they are good remasters because the original masters were great, the mix of AFYCSO catches the essence of the band at that time (and their vision too) so the remasters doesnt change that essence at all, it just clarifies everything and i think its nice, 10/10

the demos:

holy shit, if you havent already listened to the demos you need to, its a total different way to see the record and the sound of P!ATD, unlike the dookie demos (that were basically a 4 track version of the same record unless basket case, and they are great dont think i say they are bad jjsjs) this is a new view of every song, the drums are more electronic on every song, having new sections of electro dance music (like the ones on the first half of the actual record) on almost every song, something i notice is that the split in 2 halfs on the record in terms of ¨subgenres¨ was a decision made in the studio, because most of the second half songs sound like the first electronic half, like ¨But´s It´s Better If You Do¨ the song have electro drums, synths, the guitar enters after the second chorus!!!, its really strange because im used to the normal album but its kind of engaging, idk if you have listened the story of why they put strings on i write sins not tragedies, well now you can listen to the original version, with guitars on the intro, and it is SO DAMN GOOD that i wish they do that live, also, we need a fever tour pls, there are some strange demos that are just strange, like Esteban demo, the intro feels a little ankward without the acoustic instruments but the rest of the song its as good as his normal version but definetly my favorite demo was the:

TIME TO DANCE DEMO:

i need to make a separate section for this demo

for me its not only the best demo, IT FIGHTS WITH THE NORMAL VERSION

its soooo good, it has so many details like the classical ¨you sure, you sure¨ the intro of the song feels more dance, like it was mean to be like this and in the process losed that aggresive synth, and the rising drums before the song starts are incredible, the bridge feels different but in a good way, it complements better the song, the way they put the synths in more parts of the song and everything on this demo is right, i wish they can remaster this demo and release it as an another version of the song cause god is just so gooooood

LIVE IN DENVER:

best panic! performance ever

arguable? yes, but for my its their best

its just perfect in every way, the reversion of the songs of SP and Radiohead but also their own songs, i like that Panic! played their songs in a different way live, it gives you a new reason to see them live (i repeat, we need a tour) ryan vocals are awesome, he was an incredible vocalist, jon is one of the best bassists panic had, spencer is just the right drummer for panic!, and brendon theatrical performances and voice were meant for this era. they fit so perfectly with each other that think about them spliting makes me so sad jfkdska, i hope they reunite some day.

this was my review jfdsklfa

in general 10/10

sorry for my bad english its not my primary lenguage

if you have a different opinion or something to add, put it in the comments!!!!!
